Scriptures about travelling in a pilgrimage to the Feast of Tabernacles:
Exodus 23:17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before YaHVaH Elohim

Deuteronomy 12:5 But unto the place which YaHVaH your Elohim shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
Deuteronomy 14:24-27 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which YaHVaH thy Elohim shall choose to set his name there, when YaHVaH thy Elohim hath blessed thee: 25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt GO unto the place which YaHVaH thy Elohim shall choose: 26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before YaHVaH thy Elohim, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household, 27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.
Deuteronomy 16:13-17 13 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: 14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates. 15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto YaHVaH thy Elohim in the place which YaHVaH shall choose: because YaHVaH thy Elohim shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
16 Three times in a year shall all thy males APPEAR before YAHVAH thy Elohim in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before YaHVaH empty:
17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YaHVaH thy Elohim which he hath given thee.

Exodus 34:24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt GO UP to appear before YAHVAH thy Elohim thrice in the year. Nu 28:9

Then the blessings: I begin to confess "This IS an adventure. I DO like it after all. These people really do appear to love YaHVaH. I have already helped several people in their walk. Several have helped me already.
Wait! I don't want to leave; I don't want to go home."

YaHVaH might say to us, "This is only a taste of the heavenly here, My son, you cannot stay here, and you MUST go back home. What I gave you, take home with you."

It is better than the old Pentecostal camp meetings we used to attend.
This one is in Truth. And we are directly appointed to obey YaHVaH and meet with others.
They may not agree with you. Maybe you believe in short hair/ long hair; short -sleeves, long sleeves; This calendar, that calendar. Even our names and words might be different.
Then there are those who are too decrepit. They have saved no second tithe to travel to the feast because they had to use all their income to just exist.  They may not be able to go-up.
We hope to find ways for those who cannot afford to go, with the surplus we have.
Paul said, "I must, by all means, GO UP to this feast, which cometh at Jerusalem" Acts 18:21 regarding Firstfruits.
Once at our home here, due to health, we are at our house for the Feast.

We built the Sukkot in the front yard; we waved branches before
YaHOSHA. Much is lacking from the challenge and adventure of the pilgrimage feast YaHVaH wants us to enjoy.
If we say, "I will not travel, I will Sukkot here; my home here.
Everyone must come to my abode for the Feast". Then we cannot all gather in courtesy, harmony and love in a pure convocation.

The fact is when we do not go up then we lose many blessings.
As we “go-up to the Feast” we pry ourselves from our familiar atmosphere, and have some new, unknown experience with others. We think "This is a new adventure, I don't like it. The people around me don't fit in. The unknown about this area: How do I eat, sleep? What about my dog? We are older and may not adapt as quickly as young people here."

In our hearts YaHOSHA dwells and tabernacles with us. He does not cancel the command to physically travel, males and their families, three times per year, to the Feasts. Exodus 23:17  “Three times in the year, all thy males shall appear before YaHVaH The Eternal.”
Deuteronomy 12:15; 16:13 say ALL of us shall appear before YaHVaH. ZechariYah 14.

Below are Hebrew words from Nehemia 8:15-18 "Everyone built a sukkot on his own house". It was not like staying at the
apartment, sticking a little tent out on the balcony, nor dwelling in it.
"So the people went forth, and brought (branches) and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of "his" house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of YaHVaH, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim."  See below also.
It was the roof of "a" house. they were all in convocation together in one place to praise YaHVaH like..
ZecharYah 14 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, YaHVaH of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, YaHVaH of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

Nehemyah 8:1 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which YaHVaH had commanded to Israel. :2 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month. 3 And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.
verse 4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood..

16 So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of Elohim, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.
17 And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua (Yasha) the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness. 18 Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of Elohim. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.”

Message to Protestants and Roman Catholics from TsephanYah
My first RETREAT was at high school. At Jesuit High School at this time of year, they explained holidays vaguely; we came dressed to relax, and no class, just time for prayer, reading pamphlets about heaven.
So, we assembled in class, quietly for one week or several days and were allowed to discuss spiritual matters at an appointed time.

I enjoyed those retreats much, and especially my friend, Howard Morrison the physics/radio club leader. He had a science lab and aircraft transmitter W7ESM. I talked to the world on forty and eighty meters shortwave.
Note: In this diary, I do not hope to convey the message that the RCC is YaHVaH’s pure assembly. A word to the wise is sufficient. Come out of her that you do not partake of her plagues. You might be in the wrong place when those plagues overtake this old world.
But now, we know the Way, The Truth and the Life.  We had enjoyed man’s holidays.  Now we agree with YaHVaH and we disagree with Satan.  “The Feasts are for today, yesterday and tomorrow, as YaHVaH is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
                       Shalom, TsephanYah

LET US KEEP THE FEAST!
Welcome Back from Sukkot!

SUKKOT AFTERGLOW on the McKenzie River

At this year’s Sukkoth, it was “More than last year” instead of being “A little less than last year” in many Congregations. Deeper studies, rather than more shallow (to please the lower common denominator).
Sincerely
2 Peter 3:12
10 But the day of YaHVaH will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all separated conversation and YAHVAH-like, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of Elohim, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

The singing from the “Pentecostal Hymns 3 and 4” was excellent, not too loud; not watered-down with rock. The worship was pure praise, not a mixture of religious worldliness and carnality. Although some songs were obviously of days of maritime travel, they were very refreshing. “He Will Meet Me at the Portal”
Stanza Three “Oh the joy of that glad meeting, when He comes to meet us there. I’ll sing the songs of Zion; there with Believer communion hold, There I’ll shout glad Hallel’s, Safe within the heavenly fold. He will meet me at the Portal, lead me by the hand. Bid me welcome to His mansions, In that bright and joyful land.” NEVER ALONE “Remember I have promised Never to leave thee alone.” ON CALVARY Chorus “From above He came and sought me; With His precious blood He bought me. Life, eternal life, He bought me; on Calvary, on Calvary.”

It will be heavenly at the Feast of Tabernacles, on the sawdust trail. We shall sing:

 OLD CAMP MEETING
"Long ago when but a child, in old camp meeting time,
How my heart did beat with joy to hear the old bells chime.
Calling all the saints of YaHVaH into the house of prayer.
Oh, what praying, singing, shouting. For our YaHVaH was there!
Chorus I like the old' time preaching: praying singing, shouting.
I like to hear the reading of YaHVaH's Word. I like to hear those old-time Hallel's ringing.
I like to hear the praising of YaHVaH's Word. “

The Food was wonderful. The hiking trails invigorating.
Revelation 20:11-15
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Revelation 22:1-21
1And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb. 2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
Romans 11:33 Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
We look forward to the next Feast. It certainly is a tangible taste of heaven.

We sojourned by faith to the Feast near the Columbia River.  First high day was short.  The messages began at 9 a.m. each morning in ZecharYah.
There were delicious, nutritious meals.  While the weather outside was frightful, the dancing was delightful.  Musicians played inspirational music.  We all fell in love with YaHVaH and Feasts with "How Great Thou Art".
Some interference occured and we were a force by "daring to be different".  Thank you for changed hearts and attitudes.

The accomodations were tenacious, not IN-tense but In-TENTS.  But we need to pray that all our children will become controlled by loving parents.  A curfew should be set for half-hour after evening service.

The greatest part was the morning service.  Prayers were said after all meals.
We visited a beautiful small city on the river with quaint cafe and taverns.
Lulaf branches and firs were waved before YaHVaH from the 1st to the Last Great Day.  A blessing is received for keeping the whole Feast.
Faces I had not seen in years returned for a spiritual reunion.
I found the PCT Pacific Crest Trail North into Washington a few miles.  I loved the autumn colors.

The poor were provided for.  And wow!  We all worked together in the kitchen and whole camp.  Isn't that like the first Sukkot Tabernacles!
Commuting back home was fairly easy.  I am now stronger in faith and convictions.  My mind and body feels better.  Maybe it was the food, or..
